The Hatch Family. This booklet contains genealogical information about the ancestry of Adsit Hatch (1855-1929), who was born in Dane County, Wis. Hatch's father Lorenzo (1823-1911) moved with his wife Clara Adsit Hatch (1822-1857) to a farm in eastern Dane County from Falls Church, Va. sometime between 1846 and 1848. Lorenzo was descended from Thomas and Grace Hatch, who came to America in 1634 from Devonshire, England. In addition to birth and death dates and locations, there is biographical information about family members dating from Jethro Hatch, who died in 1818 in Kent, Conn. There is an undated obituary of Lorenzo Hatch, explanation of the Hatch coat of arms, and an anonymous handwritten narrative of the life of Jethro Hatch (1722-1818). |
