Summary |
The university and the local economy, a study of the economic interaction between the University of Wisconsin and the Dane County economy. This study was undertaken to measure the positive and negative dollar flow between the University of Wisconsin and the local community, and to determine where various community groups are affected economically by that dollar flow. The report is accompanied of two other documents: a 4-page flyer reprinting sections of the report produced by The Daily Cardinal student newspaper, and "UW and the Local Economy, Revised Estimates, January 20, 1978," a 2-page mimeo item produced by author Strang. |
