Josie's Restaurant Memorabilia, circa 1940s-2004, includes items from several Madison, Wisconsin, Italian restaurants associated with or owned by Josephine Magnasco Schuepbach, along with notes by her daughter Joanne Jensen. The longest thriving restaurant operated at 906 Regent Street from 1964 to 2004. Included are menus, photocopies of photographs, advertisements, a Nov. 2, 1968 payroll record, a bumper sticker, newsclippings, business cards, and stationery. Included is one item from Three Sisters Dining Room in the Capital Hotel; photographs of Obie Quam's Regent House, the Ace of Places, and Jimmie's Spaghetti House, all earlier businesses at the Regent Street location; and obituaries of James and Angeline Puccio, operators of Jimmie's. |
