A Bibliography of Government Publications by and about Dane County, Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin and other Cities and Towns in Dane County, a typescript update to earlier published versions. Compiled by Ann Waidelich of the Madison Public Library's Municipal Reference Service with entries through 1998. The bibliography concerns the relevant holdings of 30 repositories. It consists of three-holed punched pages collected in two vinyl binders. It lists local government reports and other assorted materials. Most of the material listed is published material; some is unpublished papers, correspondence and meeting minutes. The materials are listed in 19 categories: Dane County; Law & Criminal Justice; Commerce; Education; Environment; Health; Housing; Labor Force; Land Use; Neighborhood & Regional Planning; Politics & Public Administration; Population; Public Finance; Public Services; Recreation and Parks; Transportation; Urban Economics; Urban Renewal, Redevelopment and Relocation; and Human Services. Twenty appendices accompany the listing. Over 300 of the publications listed were transferred to the Dane County Historical Society with this bibliography. All are being cataloged with call numbers ranging from PAM 2004-01 to PAM 2006-68. Annotations in the bibliography note the call numbers assigned. |
