Scope & Content Rauls History : 1836-1965 is an extensive genealogy for the Rauls and Maier families compiled by Albert H. Kohlman. The volume contains several hundred family sketches with some biographical data, as well as a detailed biographical history for the author's grandparents, Peter Rauls and Susanna Maier Rauls. The Rauls settled on a farm in the Town of Berry, Dane County, Wis. in 1858, with immediate descendants settling in and around Cross Plains, Wis. Prominently featured family names include Marx, Koch, Wipperfurth, Endres, Meier, Schoepp, Pertzborn, Kuehn, Kohlman, Hellenbrand, Esser, and Ballweg.
